Nathan Morris, Owner
Nathan is a 2003 graduate. After graduating, Nathan moved to High Point, NC where he began touring and performing his music. He has since released four records, earning him multiple mass-media placements, as well as earning him the 2010 IndieCharts Music Award. In 2010, Nathan began working at Haley-McGinnis and Owensboro Funeral Home, where his family has been serving the community for over half a century. He is a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and involved in many clubs, such as Owensboro’s BNI Chapter, Owensboro Chamber, and serves as a board member for Gideon Productions. Nathan recently graduated from Arapahoe College, earning a degree in Mortuary Science. Nathan is also a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He and his wife Megan have two children, Anderson and Everett. Our family is grateful for the honor to serve your loved ones.
Megan Everly Morris, Owner
Megan graduated from Apollo High School in 2002. After graduation she moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky, from which she received a Bachelors degree in Communications and a Minor in Business in 2006. After graduating from UK, Megan began serving her apprenticeship at Haley-McGinnis. In 2007, she attended Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana where she received an Associates degree in Mortuary Science. Megan is married to her husband, Nathan. They attend Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She is a member of the Owensboro Chamber, Owensboro Business and Professional Women’s Club and Junior League of Owensboro. Megan and Nathan have two children, Anderson and Everett.
John Morris, Director of Family Services
John is a 2007 graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School. After graduating, John attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Economics. John began working at Lifetime Companion from its inception and is the Chief Operating Officer. He is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. John is also an Apprentice Funeral Director at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. He and his wife Kayla married June 13, 2015. In his spare time, John enjoys playing cards, video games, trivia and spending time with his puppy Penelope.
