Tiger White

2005 - 2016

May1, 2005 – July 1, 2016
Tiger lost his battle with spinal sarcoma July 1st, at 8:32am CT at Pennyrile Animal Clinic.
Tiger had a difficult start to life, being abandoned at a school, starving and very sick. He was found by his new Mommy while he was still a baby and she took him to the vet hospital to receive treatment.
She took him into her home and loved him and took care of him when he could not take care of himself.
Tiger lived a life of luxury, never worrying about food, water, shelter, or love. Laser light was his favorite activity, next to sitting on his Mommy’s lap. Because Tiger had such a vitamin difficiency before he found his forever home, he only developed four teeth, his fangs. He lost his bottom fangs about 2 years ago, leaving him with two teeth on top. He refused to succumb to this “weakness” and would not eat soft food. He demanded dry cat food and could gum anything he wanted. If his food bowl had a small dip in it, he would make sure everyone in the house was aware by standing on his hind legs and waving to get your attention.
In February 2016, Tiger became ill and was taken to the vet hospital where it was determined he had swelling on the brain and went on a regime of steroids. He seemed to improve but had a setback around June 24th and continued to decline. His Mommy took him to the doctor on July 1st where it was decided due to his no longer responding to the increased steroid regime and his quality of life was non-existent, that it was time to set him free. Tiger was very dehydrated, so the normal shot would not work, as they could not find a vein that would accept the syringe without blowing the vein. The doctor gave him a relaxant shot in his shoulders that would allow him to remain calm while the vet worked to find a good vein. After the relaxing shot was given, Tiger passed in his Mommy’s arms, surrounded by her love.
Tiger is survived by his Mommy and Dad, brothers Saxon and Chance, and sister Ronin.
He will be greatly missed by all as he was pure love. Always filled with pure love.
He was met at the bridge by several loved ones that he had not seen for a while. He found the bridge to be filled with laser lights and the ability to chase and jump and walk straight. He also found his body restored and continues to feel the love of his Mommy.
